Newborn Care
Our maternity team works in partnership with parents to provide essential support, advice, and respite to ensure that your settling-in period is a smooth, relaxed, and highly enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Babies and Beyond maternity nurses are DHA-licensed and highly trained. As experts we can offer you advice on a wide range of maternity techniques, such as how to bathe and change your baby, sleep training, feeding, developing routines, dealing with post-natal depression, breast and/or bottle feeding techniques and much more.
Our maternity nurses are also trained to care for premature babies, twins and multiples. We provide cover day and night, seven days a week. Our team work a number of shift patterns, ensuring they are available at a time that suits your family and your needs.
Our maternity nurses will:
- Provide direct care, supervision and safety for your newborn baby
- Provide postnatal care and support for mothers
- Assist in establishing a routine that works for your family
- Support you in the development of a sleep routine and positive sleeping habits
- Educate you and your family on current health, safety and hygiene guidelines for baby care
- Provide support with breastfeeding
- Help you to prepare and feed expressed breast milk or formula to babies
- Teach you how to sterilize baby feeding equipment
- Help you maintain a hygienic and safe environment for your baby (how to take care of your baby’s crib, room, equipment and toys)
Being moms and baby experts ourselves, we know that our babies and children are precious and must only be cared for by trustworthy and credible people. Our nurses are fully insured, licensed and regulated by the Dubai Health Authority and hold a government-approved full check (which includes all counties they have worked in – not just the UAE). What’s more, we handpick our team to choose bright, articulate and friendly people who we know you will be happy to welcome into your home.
